Here's the Link since Weebly doesn't seem to feel I pay enough to be able to post Youtube videos here? Is that why You call it Weebly Pro? LOL... I made this video with my new Hero Cam which I had to return because it failed on me. But, I digress. Sorry the video is so shaky. (my fault not the camera's) But the message it contains is too important for me not to post. So we went to Mexican Caribbean this summer. While it is still beautiful. The plastic on the beach was not. This is not a Mexican problem by the way. This is a WORLD problem. Each and every one of us. Use plastic. How hard is it to recycle? One thing I do to try and make a difference (and save money) is take a glass growler which I call a Trucker Jug, aka Awake Bottle with me on the road. Instead of buying plastic water bottles I just fill up at the tap at the truck stops when I buy fuel and use my bottle over and over. I've been doing this for several years now and have saved a TON of money by not paying for toxic plastic enclosed water.
Below check out a photo I snapped. Somebody at a property we stayed at in the Sian Kan Biosphere has gathered up plastic bottle caps from the same beach I video'ed at and used them to make a rather beautiful statement to mans ability to create something out of garbage. Notice that light colored stuff surrounding the plastic. it's called sand, the same substance used to make glass which is much less toxic for humans to drink out of as well as the environment.

First time I got to go on an international snorkel/dive trip was to Belize in 1981. I was fifteen and we drove down in a Datsun Pickup full of dive gear, and a portable compressor, back then it was hard to find a place to fill your scuba tanks, years later I decided it was time to take a break from my Job and see Belize through a greybeards eyes, to say that San Pedro Belize has changed is an understatement, they even have a hyperbaric Facility. I will post here about snorkeling, traveling, and stuff that happens along the way. Thank You for visiting! Burnie Archives
